My first opinion

As most of my readers (a.k.a. Mom and Diane) know, I got a new job at the Illinois Appellate Court. It's been a wild ride so far, but I wanted to post a link to my first opinion, which was filed on September 30 (last Friday).

Here it is!

I don't know how long that link will be good, but I figured I'd post it to mark the occasion. It was a civil case about a car crash, and it stirred my memory of first-year torts cases. My next case is criminal, which has been a learning experience!
