Because Zelda still needs medicine, we took the bunnies with us. They're hanging out in the basement, and we took each of them outside at least once today to walk around in the grass and get their fur brushed.
While I was walking Zelda this afternoon, I checked out Dad and Dave cleaning the roof of the house. I didn't notice that it needed to be cleaned, but once they started cleaning you could really see how much grime they were removing.
It was cute to see Dave doing work around the house.
Other than that, we've been watching TV (including the Mad Men marathon on AMC today) and just finished a game of Trivial Pursuit. It was a closely fought race, but Mom and Dad won. There were plenty of softball questions and plenty of noodle-scratchers:
- Softball: What is the most common color of garnet? (Red)
- Toughie: What is the only animal that can't fly that can fly? (Human)
- Softball: In what war were the Tartleton twins killed? (Civil War; trivia from "Gone with the Wind")
- Toughie: What language do they speak in Trinidad & Tobago? (English)
And then there are always the questions that are made tougher by the fact that we play the 1981 Genus Edition, which means you have to think, "What answer was true in 1981?" And the answer is generally "The Soviet Union." One tough one made tougher for that reason was, "What city has the tallest building outside the U.S.?" The answer was apparently Toronto, although I'm sure that's not true anymore.
Signing off for now, but I will have another fun post tomorrow with some surprising news.
