A lita of margarita

We have been alternately relaxing and doing chores this weekend, as it is the first weekend for a while that we have had no plans - and we took advantage! (Bunny has been relaxing, too, clearly.)

I edited a 126-page textbook manuscript for some DePaul professors, and today I've been editing another textbook chapter for another professor! Looks like my history as an editor is coming in handy...

I've also been knitting a Harry Potter scarf for the upcoming movie and book premiers...I can't wait!

Additionally, I've been exercising a lot lately, and I think I've already lost a few pounds! Dave and I went to play tennis yesterday, and today I ran on the elliptical machine and took an evening stroll with Dave. I will say, jogging on
the elliptical isn't too bad when you have something to read; the half-hour goes by so much quicker when I'm thumbing through Book 6 of Harry Potter! (I have to enjoy it before Harry is replaced by casebooks again in August...)

So, having got so much done, we decided to reward ourselves...

Yes, a liter of strawberry margarita each, with a handful of fruit for extra healthfulness. Our plastic beer steins are from the February Faschingtanz with Katie, and we are putting them to good use yet again. (And look, we got new eye glasses, too!)

Now back to reading and knitting before bed...boy, I lead a hard life.

Well I'm glad to hear Zelda has had some down time and is not too stressed out.
