My 15 minutes

Well, haven't I been on the yarn bomber press tour lately. I was in the Chicago Tribune courtesy of the wonderful Heidi Stevens last week, and I was on the WGN morning news this week. These are surely crazy times.

A local photographer reached out to the yarn bombers in Dearborn Park to take some photos of us with our work.

That's me at left, Ann in the middle, and Angie at right. Ann is kind of the chief of the Dearborn Park yarn bombers, and I am a latecomer, only having added a couple of flowers to this particular piece. But I have earned my right to stand with them by virtue of my prolific yarn work during this pandemic!

I've blown past my LLS fundraising goal this year and am working on achieving $3,000 raised, which would be a personal record. Tons of people have donated after the Trib article and WGN piece. It's been a spot of brightness for me in these dark times.

Wish Dad were here to see all this.
