We had an uproarious night at Avenue Q yesterday with some of the high school friends, and I must say it was a fantastic show. It was Diane's idea, and I trust her judgment because she and I have just about the same sense of humor. (Monty Python ... Garfield ... Chickenomics ... need I say more?)

We went for a fancy dinner at the Italian Village first, of course... And I actually tried something new! Normally I get the tortelli tre formaggi, but this time I chose the rolotini di pollo, which is Mike's longtime favorite. (Chicken rolled with sausage and spices; yeah, I can see that.)

So, the show was fantastic and so hilarious. Humans and muppets working out life's problems with a little bit of perverseness thrown in. I loved the songs "The Internet is for Porn" and "The More You Love Someone, the More You Want to Kill Them." Oh, oh, and "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist."

It was a great show, and certainly great people watching. (I ask, can you be totally focused on the stage when people are making out in front of you, someone is murmuring "Mary Poppins" behind you, and people are strolling by with gloved feet?)
