Hat and mittens set

This week, I made a set of hat and mittens for an old coworker of mine at the Daley Center.  The yarn is my favorite new stuff, Lion Brand Amazing, in the color Glacier Bay.

The hat is the Simple Hat pattern on the Lion Brand website - I love their free patterns!  The mittens are these simple vintage mittens.

I gave the set to her at the Housing Court Christmas party today, and she loved them.  I'm not sure if she tried them on - I hope they fit!
