Being that Dave and I are government workers, we had the day off today for Columbus Day. We took advantage of our warm weather to do a hike in our area at the Crabtree nature preserve.
The leaves have not totally turned yet - so either the trees are dead, slightly yellow, or still very green.
As you can see, though, there were beautiful wildflowers! There was also a lot of milkweed, which Dave had never seen before.
Don't know how many more beautiful days like this we'll have, so I'd better soak it up!
