Our walk site, as always, is the Grant Park / Museum Campus walk, although there are satellite walks all over Chicagoland. We got fun t-shirts and balloons, and I even got a special t-shirt for raising more than $1,000.00!
In addition, our team's heavy hitters got passes to the VIP tent, where we got cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Dave and I got photos in a booth, and when we were leaving, we caught an ABBA cover band!
It was a fun night, and it was nice to know that we made a difference in this cause. Thanks to my wonderful team, and thanks to all my fantastic donors! We wouldn't have made it to (or past!) our goal without you!!
