Gas for less than $2!

Here is proof of the lowest gas prices seen in years.


Yes, even in Cook County, you can get gas for less than $2! And in Will County, where I was visiting my parents on Saturday, I filled up the Subaru for $1.89 for premium! (Regular unleaded was $1.69.)

Dave and I hope that this doesn't encourage more people to go out and buy gas-wasting cars. The low is temporary, but it is nice nonetheless. (Especially since we're driving to West Virginia for Thanksgiving - and Dave calculates that at less than $2 per gallon, it will cost us under $200 for the whole trip, as opposed to $1,200 for both of us to fly into Charleston's airport.) Yay for cheap gas!
