Yesterday after pumpkin picking, I decorated haunted-style gingerbread houses with Colleen and Joanna!
They sell these kits at JoAnn and Michaels, but I had never done one until now. We settled in and decorated while watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Ghostbusters - yes, it took that long, and it was awesome.
They all turned out really well; in fact, they were so different that we voted on "awards" for each of them:
Most Candy Used: Colleen
Cutest: Val
Scariest: Joanna
Joanna's was really the only one that looked like a true haunted house, and it looks even creepier due to my shoddy camera work. But again, they were all really cool in their own ways.
We decided it was such a good idea, we're going to do it again next year. Until then, mine is on my table, hanging out and smelling delicious!
