If you pet her while she is stretching out, this is what she does. Sigh...to be that relaxed and care-free.
Or, if she is really tired, you can tip her over and she will lay down much like this. We call it Bunny Tipping.
Meanwhile, she has been really destructive to her litterbox recently, such that I have had to spray her with water to calm her down. Unfortunately, this means that right now I have a bunny hopping around the house like a wet mop.
In other bunny-related news, Zelda is now omnivorous. That is to say, she has taken to eating meat, but really, she has always been an omnivore in the truest sense of the word, in that she will eat pretty much anything.
So I shouldn't be surprised that she is eating meat, but I am a little disturbed how much she enjoys it. I always said bunnies would be less cute if they were carnivorous, but I guess she hasn't taken to tracking down mice and squirrels yet, so I shouldn't worry too much.
Just for fun, and just for my own records, here is a list of items she has eaten since we have owned her:
- Flip flops
- Drywall
- Carpet
- Tortilla chips
- Leather purse
- Beans
- Guacamole
- Wood
- Newspaper
- Ground beef
- Chorizo
- My property outline
- Ground turkey
- Chili
- Pasta
- Cheese
- Peanut butter
- Paint
- Bugs
- Plastic toys
- Phone cords
- Pizza
- Wasabi sauce
- Towels

After three years I'm still finding things that my late bunny chewed on. More recently though, I found half of my bite plate on the floor when I came back from Seattle. Sunny, my smaller dog, thought it made a nice chew toy. If she only knew how expensive it was. But it was really my fault, it was within reach.
Anyway, I started the first Harry Potter. I should have read these books a long time ago.
Miss you guys,
Morgan
Lol, Zelda is totally a dog. I would say Annie is worse because she's eaten Jamie's glasses and the wiring for our garage door, but she's never eaten drywall, so I guess it evens out. Awww, pets. :)
I sometimes miss not having a pet around the house (Michelle's tortoise Normal ALMOST was a pet when he was at our house), but when I read these stories, not so much.
Valerie, I really get such pleasure out of checking out your blog. It's just a little ray of sunshine in my day, and it's always a surprise of what you are writing about, and what pictures you have on there. Keep up the blogging! Love, Mom
Note, since this post Zelda has also eaten: (1) leather briefcase and (2) curry.
