We got back into town yesterday after a half-week vacation in Folly Beach, South Carolina, with Dave's family. All in all, it was a very relaxing vacation, and a good opportunity to get better acquainted with the Landford-McCauley family!
As some may remember, we went on a trip to Folly last August, just before my first year at law school began. It seems like beach trips are a nice book-end for stressful things like law school!
I got lots of reading and crocheting/knitting time in, as well as time on the beach. Time at the beach was the easy part, since our rental house was on the ocean-front. Time spent reading or knitting inside was more difficult, because of the presence of a Wii video game system...very addictive!
I didn't get as many pictures this time, because we really didn't do as many touristy things. (However, see all of our photos here.) Really, this trip was all about relaxation, which we received in spades. It was kind of nice to be away from the Internet, where I couldn't check my grades online every hour like I do at home.
Speaking of which, grades have been coming in. I'm happy, because I did better than I thought I would in legal writing; however, I received the same mediocre grade in contracts as I did last semester, which is disappointing. We shall see as they keep trickling in...

Isn't the Wii awesome?? Alex brought it over on Memorial Day, and we played for hours.
