When we got there, we saw it was a tad bit more of a restaurant than a bar, but that's OK, because we turned about a third of the restaurant into our own little Section B party!
Oh, and the kitsch did abound. There were pictures of old Germans everywhere - I said it was "like being in Wisconsin." Any place that serves booze in a large glass boot is pretty awesome in my book.
And let's not forget how my party mingled with the old Germans on the dance floor! There was a German band, so of course I got to do some dances Mike. However, several members of my party were asked to dance by the smooth-talkin' geriatrics! Congratulations to Chris and Laura - you made some new friends.
A TON of people came out! Thanks to all who celebrated my birthday with me - it was fantastische!
