First, I'm sort of embarrassed, but Dave and I have already exchanged gifts, haha. We can never wait for this type of thing, or keep a secret. Also, I already knew what he was getting me, because I requested it. (Sex & the City: the Complete DVD Series.)
I got him a sweet new watch - he likes it. :o)
On top of that, we just got a couple of packages from Dave's family. (You know you've been out of touch when UPS comes to your door and you and your spouse look at each other and say, "I didn't order anything - did you?!")
Dave's grandma sent us some Harry & David's pears (MMM!!), and his aunt & uncle sent us cheese (MMM again!!). It was a happy time tonight.
In other good news, I took my con law final today - we'll see how that turns out. If I manage to flunk all my classes this semester, I still have an out...Dave's cousin Mary told me today that I could have a career as an editor! Compliments like that make your day a little brighter.
As do Christmas presents. ;o)
