Unscrupulous activities

It was an excellent Thanksgiving weekend, with lots of good food and fun visiting.

Look at the books I brought to my parents' house! Wow. I did get a good portion of my Constitutional Law outline done, so it was worth it.

All the food on Thanksgiving turned out well, and Grandma came over to eat with us. We ate 'til we dropped and played Scruples, during which we discovered that we basically have no scruples. Example:

Me: "If someone is passing you with their brights on, do you flash your brights at them once they get in front of you? Chelle?"
Michelle: "YES!!"

We also checked out the deals at the after-Thanksgiving sales, fighting the crowds for a few marked-down goodies. Mostly, the stores we visited weren't too heinously bad. We did leave Circuit City when we heard the wait in line was 2 hours. Mostly we made fun of people like us, who got up at 5 a.m. to zombie-walk around stores in pajamas.

It was worth braving the crowds, as we picked up some bargains: Dave got a new suit, I got new shoes, we both got some CDs (including tons of cheap classical music), and I bought some fleece and made a no-sew blanket, which was lots of fun.

Friday we also got to visit with the college peeps, and we had some tasty pizza at Chicago Dough Co. on the south side. We talked grad school,
Borat, and life in general. Always good to see them.

Anyway, back to outlining, I suppose. I got a lot done this weekend, but I've got a long way to go. I'm realizing that there are some holes in my case briefs from the week I was sick, but not too many. Mostly it's just figuring out how to organize this stuff. How do you fit a semester's worth of notes, case briefs, and other information into an outline you can reasonably memorize?

P.S. I switched to Blogger Beta, which I'm kind of nervous about, so if anyone has any problems posting or anything, let me know so I can try to fix it.

Turkey dinner was great, that fruit plate looks great, and they were delicious, and all went. Scruples was a blast, even for Grandma, and she was hesitant about learing a new game, but with Dave's instructions, it went fine. Best 50 cents I spent at a garage sale. When I bought it, I was kidding the guy, "Well, hope we are all talking to each other after playing this game!" Shopping was fun, guess we're starting a tradition, right? Mom
