With finals upon me, life is becoming supremely hectic. Any break is welcome. So I started thinking about Christmas cards.
I actually bought Christmas cards a few weeks ago, and they're really cute, but I need a photo to put in the front frame. Looking through all the photos from all the places we've visited this year, I've discovered two things:
1) Dave and I don't get very many pictures taken together.
2) In the pictures we actually take together, one of us looks like a maniac or both of us are holding beers.
Anyway, life is good otherwise. Dad's going in for treatment in a few days, so that makes me nervous, but overall I'm excited about winter break and having some time off.
During break, we plan to paint our cabinets, so we can finally get new flooring in the kitchen/foyer. We know it's something we will have to do when we resell, and as far as I'm concerned, I want to enjoy the new floor, too.
Oh, and there was good and bad news from yesterday. The good news is that I finally got my memo assignment under the 3,000 word limit. The bad news is that Metra killed somebody on the evening commute, so the trains were super backed up. (And the good news there was that at least my friend Chris was on the train with me!)
OK, back to reading. I'm sure there's something I could be studying right now.
Absolutely Hystorical!

I know what you mean about the photos. I have kidded for years, "Look, Chris, Valerie and Michelle went on vacation!" Because I was always the one taking, and not in many of them (as we know not a huge loss, as I am not the photogenic one). I have very few of Dad and I, and even less of the 4 of us. Mom
