Some news today - I participated a lot in class, which I was proud of, and also I already surpassed my original goal for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society donations! Woo hoo! I'm so excited that people have donated to this great cause. I'm going to have to do something nice for all my donors...
For now, all I've got are cute bunny photos, so I hope that will serve as some kind of collateral.
This is going to be a rough week, so inbetween all the Contracts studying & briefing tonight, I spent some quality time with the little weevil.
She does like to sit at my feet while I type on the laptop - she's like some kind of little lap-bunny. It's distracting when I'm trying to type up a case brief, but I'm still happy for the distraction.
Good thing she's so cute, or she'd be in serious trouble right now, actually. For some reason, she keeps tossing all her hay, litter, and crap all over their carpet. Dave is about to lose it - I think he's beginning to try to bargain with her to stop being naughty. However, he still loves her:
She does a very good job of making us forgive her naughtiness by being utterly cute. Hmm, maybe bunnies are more like children than we thought...
Oh, and another fun picture from the night:
We had tomato-pesto penne, veggies, breadsticks and pomegranate for dinner, and I was reminded of how much I love this bizarre fruit. My mom got me hooked on it as a kid, and I love popping it open and picking out all the jeweled fruit inside. Pomegranates make you work for the end result, but I think they're worth it.
Maybe pomegranates are like children, too - right, Mom?

Good analogy on kids and pomegranites. I have not had one lately, probably since you've been at home Valerie. They are good, but lots of work.
Cute pictures of the bunnies, and everyone gets to see your haircut now, right?
It's not the best picture of the haircut, all messy and such. Not that it looks very good right now, with me being sick and such...
