In January, I moved to Maine! I got a new job at Colby College, left my job at Saint Mary's College, packed up our apartment, and moved to Gardiner, Maine.
Part of my moving goals was to do one last yarn bomb in Chicago to use up some scraps and say goodbye to the community that has been so supportive of my weird yarn art. I installed this little bike rack right off the corner near Buddy Guy's legends, using scrap yarn from a few weaving projects.

I posted in the South Loop neighborhood page and received hundreds of reactions and comments. I still need to download the thread to look at whenever I am feeling down. I plan to add a yarn piece whenever I visit, but I don't have my first visit scheduled yet.
