Crocheted dress!

Well, I crocheted my first dress this month - a really cute little number, Midnight Lace Dress, from Crochet! Magazine.  I did it in the exact yarn and color that they suggested.

Sometimes the pattern was rather challenging, and I definitely had problems with my gauge, having to start over again two hook sizes larger.  But it turned out all right in the end, and I'm pretty happy with it.  Now I just need to have someone help me make a liner for it.  (I am wearing a black pencil skirt and shirt underneath this, but the skirt is a little too long, and in any case I was thinking I might go charcoal gray for the under-dress.)

Maybe I'll wear this to my cousin's wedding this year - fancy, fancy!
