Evanston tulips

Last week was my first full week at Northwestern.  I worked Monday through Wednesday, then had bereavement leave on Thursday and Friday.  I took this photo last Wednesday, the day that Dad passed away. 

I walked past the same tulips today, and whether it is the season or the weekend storms, the flowers look awful today.  Guess that is just another reminder, as if I needed one, of how fleeting life is.
