Over this Labor Day weekend, Dave and I scheduled a trip up to the Twin Cities to visit my college friend, Burt, and his fiancee, Linda. Driving through Wisconsin is obviously always fun - the above picture is me with an orange moose at the Black River Falls Oasis, the same one we visited in 2006. At this oasis, we also purchased our dinner - white cheddar cheese curds, venison jerky sticks, and chocolate-covered cranberries. Oh, how I love Wisconsin.
The weather driving up was kind of icky, but at least it afforded us a beautiful sunset.
We hit some traffic in Madison, so we pretty much arrived at Burt's just in time for bed. And we'll need rest to consume all the food I have planned to eat this weekend...
