Taste of the Taste

I went to the Taste of Chicago with Rob and Diane this evening, and I must say, the event did not let me down.

I ordered "Taste" portions of rib tips and chili, then polished it all off with a toffee- and chocolate-covered Eli's cheesecake on a stick. I have tried many confections in my life, but I must say that that was one of the best.

Sadly, I dropped the last bite of my cheesecake on the ground as we were leaving, but a seagull picked it up and went off to die of insulin shock, I can only presume.

Thanks for the treat, Rob and Diane! It was worth it, and the seagull would probably agree.
