Bake-a-holic

I don't know what it is, but I've had this urge to bake lately. Maybe it's the changing weather, and maybe it's the fact that I've been too busy to do anything too fancy for a while. Regardless, I got into some serious baking this weekend.

Friday, I made corn bread to go with some kielbasa and couscous. Mmm...

Then, yesterday, I felt like making some cookies, so I tried out one of my favorite recipes - cinnamon chocolate chip cookies. I organized a day to bring in baked goodies this week at law school, so I think I'm going to make another batch of these then.

These cookies melt in your mouth. Rob and Diane came over last night for a failed attempt to go see "Borat," and they both highly approved of the recipe. Oh, and so did Dave, haha. Dave has been the real beneficiary of Baking Weekend.

Then, today, I made some banana bread. I have never made it before, but it seems to have turned out well. I think I'm going to wrap some pieces up and bring it over to the neighbors.

OK, I'm heading out to JoAnn to teach another crochet class. Speaking of which, I may start a stitch-n-bitch with my neighbor - hopefully that will work out, because I'd definitely be up for meeting some new people in my area.

When did I become so domestic...

Oooh, all that food is making me hungry. Luckily, it's almost lunchtime.

Just wanted to say that Borat was hilarious!! So, sooo offensive, but hilarious.
