OK, so we went out last night (again), and stayed out 'til 3 a.m. (again). Wow. And last night's party was a little...weirder...than Friday's, as you can see by some of my photos.
So I got to see Mike, Rob, Diane, Esther and Dave, which is always fun, but I also got to see two people I haven't seen since grade school. (One of them is in the picture with me here: hint, he's wearing my wig.)
Speaking of this picture, I really don't know what's happening...we were all switching wigs around by the end, so I was wearing Dan's Ron Jeremy wig, and Mike Coy and Rob alternately picked up mine. Dave said this picture reminds him of a Salvador Dali painting, and I guess I can see why.
Speaking of bizarre, we showed up to the party and saw that one of my old grade school classmates (the same pilgrim as above) was dressed as the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, so we got some nice pictures of Arthur, King of the Britons, and his arch-enemy. "It's just a flesh wound..."
So, it was a fun weekend, though I haven't drank so much in a loooong time. (Maybe last Halloween...I'm sensing a pattern here.)
I didn't get as much work done as I'd have liked, which is to get ahead on my course outlining, but I think I got everything done that I needed to get done.
Oh, and I even taught a crochet class today at JoAnn! Today's was an intermediate class, which will finish up next week, and next week I'm teaching four 8-year-olds beginning crochet lessons. Should be entertaining, to say the least...
For now, I'm getting back to work. I need a couple of days to sober up, I think...I'm not used to this social life stuff.
