I haven't quite figured out why some students in law school insist on attaching the "J.D." notation to their name before they've even earned their degree.
It's the equivalent of doctoral students running around calling themselves "Ph.D." and "Dr." before they even finish (or start) writing their thesis.
Also, I hate to tell you this, but we're not all going to make it through this thing, and who knows - you could be one of the ones that doesn't. So let's not start counting our chickens before they hatch, hmm?

Sorry, I don't get out much.

J.D. stands for juris doctorate, which is the degree I'm attempting to get by going to law school, haha.
