Table for four?

So, we had Rob & Diane over for dinner last night, and I got to make our table all fancy & cook a big meal for four! Diane and I each made some dishes, and I got to use fancy wedding registry items to make a pretty table.


OK, so yeah, I folded the napkins - so what! Yeah, everything coordinates...so what! (I'm so embarrassed - but it was so fun!) So we had wine, cheese & crackers, salad, spaghetti carbonara, fruit, and Diane's tasty homemade bread. Then, TWO pies...it was quite the sugar overload. My blueberry pie was good, if a bit liquefied, but Diane's chocolate mousse pie turned out splendidly.

We also went for a walk around our nearby lake and watched Watership Down, which Diane just finished. Disappointingly, I didn't happen to catch the scene where my animation cel appears, but I will try harder next time to watch for the specific character poses.

Oh, and my mom got a blog! And random people are asking to be my friend on MySpace, and I'm getting a little worried.
